The slip was baked for four hours to evaporate most water.stirring and scraping edges and bottom every hour.then i poured mixture around plumbbob and let set overnight in %80 humidity/ambient air.next morning it was set up enough to set race and pour in it..more updates later. Scheduled for cvaughn to weld race on monday.hopefully disc will be hard enough to pull race off without damage to disc.after race is installed on lower unit.i will set a thin coat of slip on funnel and reinstall on race.let slip dry and then take disc to sf for kiln.

just the outer race, beveled funnel shape ,to fit into top of unit and fit plumbbob/triboelectric electrode.dropa stone/insulator will sit on top of unit and hold pressure, then plumbbob will be magnetically pulled down into ceramic, thus sealing pressure of mercury gas, maybe 2atmospheres worth of pressure at 500C temp.a bevel seals ceramic best, vacuum and pressure.so im mating outer bearing race to coils at top.

well first disc broke from drying too quick on one side.making new one now.pouring it in thinner layers but humidity is high in east texas,so taking freakin forever.right here at finish line.

I was browsing a certain site that i use to call home. I was very disappointed by an older member preaching the gospel of wormholes and the impossibility of travelling to the stars unless we had multiple generations of humans surviving on ship.these are falsehoods.for the record. 1)No wormholes 2)We can travel 63 times the speed of light, not 64.
So to anybody who is reading this, dont give up hope of space travel in the near future.the reality is in this thread.
An update on my ufo motor. Ive poured two ceramics, both cracked during drying and were small diameter.so ive repoured and redesigned the disc.waiting for it to dry now.if i succeed with pour,i suspect it will survive kiln.i have to admit i keep getting in a hurry.but varying humidity and ambient temps arent helping.hopefully ill have something good to tell in three or four days.

Did you talk to anyone used to work with that kind of material? It sounds like it could be a common problem, maybe there's one of those simple tricks to achieve the result wanted.

Did you talk to anyone used to work with that kind of material? It sounds like it could be a common problem, maybe there's one of those simple tricks to achieve the result wanted. lol, they say dont do it the way i do it. I was pouring it thick.it was already thick when i got it and i should have thinned it down with distilled water. .25 To .5 inch per pour. It should be poured at .125 inch or less.let dry.repeat as needed. I think what happens is as water evaps, product shrinks. Thick pours shrink unevenly due to variations in water density throughout medium/slip. This causes cracks to form. The disc may hold up in furnace but i want it to function and look right.not as dog ugly as lower unit. But i need a single pour around plumbbob to make a good seal.well theres shrinkage around it.so before crack forms,i pour on top of this.etc.hopefully i got it now. Mating two iron products to ceramic aint easy.maybe it is for a lab and machine shop but not when poor boying it.

Ive seen mention of gravity waves lately on the web. Odds are gravity waves are just mhd waves.magnetically driven, high frequency charges that are focused.if they exist. If you happen to come across pics of some of the newer radio telescopes, they look like they have a magnetic coil at their base or a big box where a coil could be hidden.or a coil built into the dish that is isolated from ground by insulators.

Well, I do know that electromagnetogravitics suggests that electricity, magetism, and gravity are all forms of the same beast...

Looks like it will be after the first.i got to get more slip and shes out till next month.i decided to use the first pour as a mold for the disc.as i need it to be a certain way. This after taking three tries at it. My slip was pretty contaminated by now so when you got lemons.lol. Im trying for a fifteen inch diameter disc 3/4 inch thick.

I know nothing but what is there about that show, and I was a bit confused by which character was a woman - Whiterose seemed to be referred to as "He," and sometimes as "She," so I have little to go on. LOL!
I hope You're doing OK. I have been worried, and this computer mess is not helping. What's the latest status?
