the hundred monkeys "para-dox"

What i learned of what i call the '100 monkey syndrome' is this;
One day, all the monkeys who ate the same food got sick, but some of the older ones, who remembered getting sick years ago, went to the river & washed their food before eating it. They never got sick.
Soon, other monkeys (probably fed up with being sick all the time) followed the older ones, and like monkeys do, they copied each other, they washed their food.
They probably did not know WHY they were doing it, only that they stoped getting sick.

After the 100th monkey had tried it, and they were all getting well, did the whole tribe go to the river & start washing their food.....
Can we hu-mons learn from this?...I hope so it takes the first 100 peeps, who get it right, to persuade the others, that means 1 million informed peeps will need to teach the 100 million survivors how to do it.....

yes Robo, i found both the Fibonacchi sequence and the double spiral in my cymatics experiments, this differed from one material to another.
