got window regulator replaced but forgot to tension spring so motor doesnt work correctly.i got to pull it all out again.
black jesus got two test paint coats yesterday, right side and left side.satin black and rustoleum flat black. im liking the rustoleum better.the satan looks like it could have a high gloss if buffed out.im not a paint guy though. im thinking of doing some minor body work on it,sew up some loose ends and patch some dings.sand it smooth and paint entire car with about 8 cans.polish,wax,buff.
i got another map sensor and replaced.car seems to run cooler and idle a tad smoother.a little more sensitive to idle changes.i would have replaced it years ago as its only 20bux but had thought it had a maf sensor, not a map sensor.mafs are like 80 dollars.
tried the driveshaft bushing repair with liquid nail.i let it sit 3 days to dry but that seems to not be long enough for that thick a bushing, probably more like 6 days to dry.ill get a chance to park it next month and repair or buy driveshaft.it runs fine down the road but vibrates some at certain speeds.ive lost a driveshaft before, its crazy wild.this one has a safety ring to keep it from going nuts.bearing in it spins fine, just old rubber.

i had a 76 chevy impala as a teen,350 two barrel, cold ac. i was doing 115mph down the highway and let off the gas to slow down for traffic,i got down to about 90 and a constant velocity driveshaft locked up sideways. im rolling down the road at 90mph with the rear axle hopping up like a rabbit.oh yeah fun times.more gm genius. white knuckle event! the next winter i had car on hill with most of it drained of antifreeze but not all.well it wasnt good antifreeze.i had just rebuilt a holley four barrel and put an adaptor plate on it.cranked it up and it roared like a beast, let it idle a few minutes then pow, clunk clunk.chocolate milkshake came out of every orifice of that engine. then some guys walked over and said, man that engine sounds nice.wanna sell it? i ended up letting a friend haul it to his house and he parted it out.

i had a mazda hatchback car.moved back from tennessee, trying to get set up with my new wife and a life.home one week and engine throws a rod.normal driving.made it all the way to texas then died.knocked a hole in side of engine, oil caught fire, car in slow motion burned to a shiny zink plated hulk of junk.the brand new tires i had on it just days before really added to the pain. then like 6 months later i get notice from dps that car was a stolen vehicle.i didnt know,i had title to it as i bought it from a friend of a friend.i had no clue.the wrecker service asked me when i was gonna pick it up.lol,im like, you own it now.

i then bought a lincoln mark 7 maybe or some kinda ford car.anyways.that car had a blown head.i put a brand new engine in it but didnt know that much about it.it never ran good.
i then bought a 96 mitsubishi eclipse, two years old.top speed 136.had that car 6 months and it dropped the starter spindle in the bell housing.i was 3 months behind on payments.towed it to a dealership in south texas after getting fired from job earlier in day.one of those microwave days.wasnt my fault, dumb crane operator put his foot under a load, broke it,i even warned him. the day before i had told an immigrant 3 times not to put his finger in a hole we were lining up.heavy 3/4 inch steel plates, the tendons and some skin held that finger in place afterwards.docs put it back together from what i heard. since i was involved in two accidents, boss sent me packing.thats how i lost my mitsu,no job,no money, behind on payments.road home in the back of a pickup with rain pouring down on me for 10 hours.

99% of the time a head gasket fails, its because somebody put tap water in the radiator and it rust out the pump, then car overheats and headgasket blows and sometimes cracks head. never use tap water.only rain or distilled water.if its already blown, well it dont matter, whatever works to get you home.
