i thought i had one other gardening thread than my chimera thread,oh well.
got my 50 strawberry plants in from ison nursery.chandler type.i think they are the sweetest and juiciest.i have 140 plus flower pots and ive been mixing soil in my spare time to prep for them.ison has always done me right,so they are my guys and gals.
ive got about halfway done on filling pots.i bought out home depot of perlite last week. im gonna go all pots next spring,im tired of fighting this soil and droughts.airforce just wont give ne texas a break.ive got 30 fruit trees and rarely get a yield.ive fertilized, ill get fruit set, then bugs would get them,i fight the bugs off and then it droughts.13 years of gardening and all in vain so far.the airforce hates america.
anyways,so this will be my gardening thread.not mushrooms, thats on my rocketshroom thread.
if i do anymore chimera plants, that will be on that thread.oh and always,to the thugs airplane buzzing my flowerpots, robo says fuckyou!
my tobacco survived the drought but barely put off any leaf,im hoping to at least get fresh seed.
my neighbor used triple 13 ferts in 20 gallon pots and had giant tomato plants and okra so ive got some and i will grow in them.im keeping my plants in backyard in partial shade because it gets too damn hot in full sun here in the summer.i hope what i lack in growth i can make up in numbers of plants.

I got a green house my daughter bought and assembled.i plumbed it last night as it has gutters.i drilled holes inside to outside gutters and routed tubing to a white plastic trashcan inside.its raining now and i get to collect my first rain in the barrel.this water will help stabilize the temperature inside the greenhouse as well as be the plants water supply.i have the side of building longways to the sun.the water barrels will be a back shelf once i get two 2x4s. This will expose the back row of plants to more sunlight.i have 3 pineapple plants and two horseradish plants in there now.my pineapples did not yield this year but i suspect they will next year.two of them i started from tops under my growlights indoors last year. When my house was raided, one of the cops was so desperate to get inside my growroom which is at front door,he crawled on his knees to rip the mylar down and see my pineapple plants.he also got to see some pepper plants.that just shows the level of fanaticism in the local mindset and their hatred for indoor growlights.years back i offered to show the growroom to a local undercover cop who i caught molesting my outdoor power meter.he declined.they use the new smart meters to sit at their office and monitor peoples power usage.the electric company are narcs without warrant. Part of the hatred so embedded in the local mafia of their neighbors success. They burn with rage.i grow pineapples.

Either by seeds or deer or pots turning over.i got ten strawberry plants! I didnt have money to buy any and yet there they were.all ready to go for spring.

Got my european honey bees today.a man named john wood sold me a great deal.bees have gone up alot in price the last couple years and whats called a nuc is 225$.thats not even a full box. John sold me a full box including bees, all the panels,a lid,a bottom board.all for 300$. Mister wood even made me wait until he felt it was best to do the transfer and i was anxious but i held on until he decided. At 8 this morning the bees were being lazy as there was dew and cold.at 9 they were still sleeping in but then i went out at 11 and its was like downtown las angeles.they may sleep in but they are hard workers.its 430pm now and its full production mode.my plums and cherries are blooming so the timing was perfect.full warm sun and im a beekeeper now. A beekeeper without a hoody and gloves.they too were stolen from me during my sherriff tim ingram vacation.brand new, never been used.they didnt get my smoker and pry bar.im sure it was just titus county residence trying to relieve me of the burden of an income and hard work.because titus county cares: )

spring of 2022 has been good for nature.i have seen monarch butterflies almost every warm day along with imperial butterflies and orange butterflies.today after a rainshower passed,i saw a black chinned hummingbird. we had one day last week when it hit 90s where im at but was a hundred in some parts of texas.most days its 80s this april but 60s at night. the rain has been coming in really nice amounts starting around the first of april and about every three days.the lake was real low but only a foot low right now. a beaver after twenty plus years of living here has finally built a dam in my back yard swamp. i wanted to but thug lake managers wouldnt let me.now nature gave them the middle finger.i told mister beaver to just let it be but he would not hear of it.
i.bought some peppermint, spearmint and minny fire colored roses. i had pruned my late fry ison grape last year and in vain had tried to see if they would root.out of 13,5 rooted.late fry is my hardiest ison variety,it took the floods and droughts.my ison supreme is struggling but survived the drought.its got one bud sprouting.
i found two muscadines i had forgot i planted seeds from.from my neighbor mr scott years back.they are 3/4 inch in diameter now. i did a greenbriar cull in my yard and gound them during that time.so now the grapes dont have to compete with the briar and are ten years old.i should get good yields off them. fertilized all my fruit trees with fish emulsion and had massive blooms this year.the limbs would break if they fully set fruit. plums i held back on and they barely bloomed. to cut back on bad fruit im using hanging coke 2 liter bottles with vinegar to catch moths.ive caught a bunch. and some big mosquitoes. im trying rotten apple in water to see if that works also. i starded tomatoes in my growroom and moved some outside. i tried getting tobacco started but not having luck with old seed.i may have to buy fresh seed. i bought a strawberry plant that had four in pot.i got those four split and in greenhouse my daughter bought while i was in jail.i used it as a miny tool and bicycle shed also. my pineapples froze but the core is still green on them so they may recover. i routed water lines from the gutters in the greenhouse and have barrels inside,so i got greenhouse rainwater supply.it stabilizes temp and humidifies the greenhouse. ive got giant horse radish plants in there.the warm temps in there they really love.leaves almost two feet long and a foot wide. john kerry is running the weather machine and the heinz tomato man knows his weather.so far.......!

i have 3,12volt pumps i use on solar to.pump water from my barrels.they hab sat in water and locked up.i spent about an hour on each one with some three in one oil and got all three running again.that saved me eighty dollars.so they are recoverable.i put silicone grease on the rotor head also to protect the plastic pump part inside head.if those cheap amazon pumps were siliconed closed, they would last a long time i suspect.currently they are sealed but not waterproofed from floods.

As you can see, most people would starve in an off grid situation. They just cant produce the quantities needed to feed a family for a year.
