ive been bored,so i figured, fuck the department of energy! here you go folks, your very own diesel maker. you need 5800 psi.just so happens a hydraulic pump setup with a tank can be bought for 350$ on ebay.its 6000psi. you dump vegetable oil at one part and methanol at 42 parts into it.like two stroke gas.you hook a pipe to it thats heated by a burner to almost 700 farenheit.heat it for four minutes.then open the valve, let it spray out into a tank to cool.its 97% diesel. the pump on ebay pumps 4gallons a minute.thats about what a convenience store pumps.then filter it through sawdust to get rid of the glycerine and water.
right now methanol is 4$ a gallon but a guy with some cash can buy methanol in 10k gallons bulk for a dollar a gallon.thats a cost of about 1.10 a gallon to produce and the start up cost is about a thousand dollars. lol,to be a fly on the wall when people read this : ) god i miss the screaming!

the expensive part now is the legal crap.the lab work.you can make it for yourself but i doubt it can be sold on public market as is. i base this all on about twenty labs and scientist research projects.
it may be possible to make gasoline or jet fuel this way by upping the ratio to 60/1 or such. otherwise you crack the diesel in a still to get those fuels i suspect.may even be able to use ethanol instead of methanol.
i laughed when i realized every tractor just about, has a hydraulic pump. may not be strong enough but then i went to ebay and saw those prices,i was like,oh this is doable!
i suspect some of the bigger farms and ranches that have high fuel cost may build them or farmers coops to get the methanol in bulk wholesale prices.then its dirt cheap.

Methanol — the simplest alcohol (CH3OH) — is a chemical building block for hundreds of everyday products, including plastics, paints, car parts and construction materials. Methanol also is a clean energy resource used to fuel cars, trucks, buses, ships, fuel cells, boilers and cook stoves.
Methanol (CH3OH), also known as wood alcohol, is considered an alternative fuel under the Energy Policy Act of 1992. As an engine fuel, methanol has chemical and physical fuel properties similar to ethanol. Methanol was used in the 1990s but is no longer in use or being developed as a commercial transportation fuel.
Methanol is a promising alternative fuel for reducing emissions and improving the environmental performance of shipping. It contains no sulphur and because it is a clean burning alcohol, emissions of NOx and particulate matter from combustion are low.
Methanol and ethanol are the most often used alcohols in biodiesel production. Methanol is particularly preferred because of its physical and chemical advantages. Beside its reaction with triglycerides is quick and it can be easily dissolved in NaOH.

Information On Methanol From Wikipedia
Methanol, also known as methyl alcohol amongst other names, is a chemical with the formula CH3OH (a methyl group linked to a hydroxyl group, often abbreviated MeOH). Its formula can also be written as CH₄O. Methanol acquired the name wood alcohol because it was once produced chiefly by the destructive distillation of wood. Today, methanol is mainly produced industrially by hydrogenation of carbon monoxide.
Methanol is the simplest alcohol, consisting of a methyl group linked to a hydroxyl group. It is a light, volatile, colorless, flammable liquid with a distinctive odor similar to that of ethanol (drinking alcohol). Methanol is however far more toxic than ethanol. At room temperature, it is a polar liquid. With more than 20 million tons produced annually, it is used as a precursor to other commodity chemicals, including formaldehyde, acetic acid, methyl tert-butyl ether, as well as a host of more specialized chemicals. Methanol is the simplest alcohol: one methyl group linked to a hydroxyl group. At room temperature, methanol is a clear, colorless liquid with a distinct odor similar to ethanol, but is highly toxic when ingested by humans. It has a boiling point of 64.7 °C, molar mass of 32.04 g mol−1, and a melting point of −97.6 °C. Methanol has a density of 0.792 g/cm³. Lab Alley sells ACS Reagent Grade (≥99.8%) Methanol.
Methanol vs Ethanol
There is definite difference between methanol and ethanol. Ethanol and methanol are just two kinds of alcohols. Ethanol, that is also known as ethyl alcohol falls with the chemical structure with two carbon atoms. While methanol, also known as methyl alcohol is composed of only one carbon atom.
Methanol Flash Point
The flash point for ethanol is 11 to 12 °C (52 to 54 °F; 284 to 285 K)
Methanol On Skin
Methanol can also degrease the skin, which may cause dermatitis. Symptoms of acute methanol exposure may include headache, weakness, drowsiness, nausea, difficult breathing, drunkenness, eye irritation, blurred vision, loss of consciousness, and possibly death.
Toxicity through the skin occurs in animals and humans. When the skin comes in contact with methanol liquid, there is a possibility of skin irritation and skin absorption.
Methanol Production
Methanol is commonly used as both solvent and reactant in chemical industry. In the conventional methanol production, methanol is produced from petroleum product (synthesis gas) via hydrogenation of CO and CO2, and reversed water—gas shift reaction.
Where Methanol Can Be Purchased
Methanol ACS Grade, Methanol HPLC Grade, Methanol Lab Grade, Methanol LC-MS Grade and Methanol Electronic/Cleanroom Grade can be ordered in small and bulk quantities through methanol suppliers such as Lab Alley. Because methanol is used for a variety of applications, such as racing fuel, other types of distributors also sell methanol.
Buy Methanol Online:
Methanol is also known as methyl alcohol, methylol, methyl hydrate, MeOH, wood alcohol, among other lesser used names, and is for sale online by Lab Alley, a bulk methanol wholesale supplier and distributor headquartered in Austin, Texas. Laboratory and manufacturing facility purchasing managers can buy methanol (CAS Number: 67-56-1) online here.
Hazards Associated With Using Methanol
Methanol is highly flammable and toxic. Direct ingestion of more than 10mL can cause permanent blindness by destruction of the optic nerve, poisoning of the central nervous system, coma and possibly death. These hazards are also true if methanol vapors are inhaled. Read more here.
Methanol Poisoning
Methanol toxicity is poisoning from methanol, characteristically via ingestion. Symptoms may include a decreased level of consciousness, poor or no coordination, vomiting, abdominal pain, and a specific smell on the breath. Decreased vision may start as early as twelve hours after exposure.
Uses:
Methanol is used to remove and extract terpenes, tannins, alkaloids, glycosides, lignans, terpinoids from plants. It is used to extract bio-active, phenolic and polar compounds from medicinal plants. Methanol is easily evaporated. Methanol is a high purity solvent. Methanol is used to manufacture herbal solutions. Methanol is used in research and testing laboratories for phytochemical study, phytochemical analysis and chemical synthesis. Methanol is used to prepare methanol/water/acetic acid mixtures.
Methanol is a popular chemical precursor to other commodity chemicals and methylamines, converted into chemicals such as formaldehyde or acetic acid. It is used a gasoline additive in biodiesel, as well as in water methanol injections in high performance engines. Methanol often the key ingredient in denatured ethanol solutions, as its toxicity makes it dangerously inedible by humans. Methanol is also a component in antifreeze solutions given its low freezing point, and is a chemical additive in the destructive distillation of wood.

i would have tubes welded end to end, spiral the length and weld spirals together in stack.put stack in box lined with fire brick.put gas burner under neath to start that could be flipped over to oil burner. cost to run the burner should be 1% of oil.at a later date a recycling heat pump from outlet could increase the efficiency even more.ill bet alot of farm coops would use this.

this may be setting the new world standard for crude oil pricing.a locked in valuation using methanol and plant oil futures.big oil will have to adjust accordingly but it will also standardize across the world.in some ways its a benefit to big oil because its not subject to big price swings anymore.big oil has a choice, move into farming or close its doors.i suspect we need more natural gas wells for methanol production unless they use farm waste to make methanol and go green.its smarter to add more gas wells and slowly migrate to green waste.thats alot of carbon thats usually in the soil for fertility.
sewage and trash has alot of methanol potential.i shake my head when i drive by a dump.

Yes, We have pollution issues, but not climate issues - and notice, pollution is not running the news. Climate and corona cover.

if you look into pollution, its mostly sulphur and nitrox.nitrogen comes from the air and sulphur seems to be the antifreeze for diesel.when they started pulling sulphur out of diesel is when problems started for the industry.its also a water repellent.i think its sulphuric acid and a little may be neccessary for northern trucks, homes ,etc. as for what they say is pollution, its turpines from coniferous trees like pines and redwoods.methane cant be stopped,if we got a methane problem, aint no electric car gonna stop that.cow farts sure arent gonna end the world.maybe the whitehouse finally cashed one of my reality checks but i doubt it.they hate us.odds are its just more gibberish from the senility club.

as the mixture comes out in the collecting vessel, the temp is controlled to above methanol boiling point and a hood is used to vent the excess heated methanol and condense it back to fluid by a cooling coil.this is then recirculated into the methanol premix. the used sawdust can be burned to heat the system or used as fertilizer.it can even be recycled into methanol using a reactor for it.that leaves water and ash.thus fertilizer.1/3gets turned into methanol by weight.
10k gallons is 70k lbs.if the reactor runs at spec then less than 5% loss. 5% of 70k is 3500 lbs of waste.it probably takes that much sawdust to absorb that much waste. thats still less than ten percent total loss from system and a three hundred percent markup. some high pressure washers do 6000 psi.new they are 5k$.rental is 250$ a dayish. cost 2.5 gallons of gasoline to pressure up for one hour 300 gallons of diesel of continual flow.thats less than 1% cost. heating shouldnt be much because some of the heat comes from the pump,a well insulated coil that contains 99% of the heat would mean very low heating cost.some heat loss comes from outside piping and is unavoidable due to flow.a backyard one would be inefficient compared to a factory version.but its still not unprofitable.diesel holds alot of btu.way more than almost anything else.thats alot of heat that can run a burner..
