Yeah i have some stuff on supercaps also on this forum.a really neat device currently in its infancy.

Elons thinking of putting supercaps in his cars for better battery life by slow charging batteries while fast charging to charge the car at the power station.they are hinting it may make lithium batteries be lifetime batteries instead of ten year batteries by adding super caps.

sorry for the crappy link.this is about combining the two materials in ops thread.this could be a world altering tech if its perfected.
if you are lucky enough to see the image of bridging,this is the biggest problem with most batteries including wet cell lead acid batteries.we could easily rebuild car batteries if we had access to run a knife between lead plates to break the chemical bridges that form between plates, this would remove the dead shorts in them.then just add fresh acid.

The ausies just dumped a big wad of cash into a factory.they are in production but not on the open market yet.
Very interesting claims.memory is the killer.i bet my money on no battery memory.
Lithium has 3500 cycles.they say ni cad has no memory.i got some nicads in remotes that are ten years old.
Nicad wattage to dollar price is out of reach.
Lead acid has a longer lifespan but weighs a ton.thats where lithium wins out in transportation.
