Im making this thread to cover all the things we take for granted with wheels.
To start off with, transportation makes up the backbone of america, its industries do too.
Look how detroit became a ghost town when unions destroyed auto manufacturers.
This thread is also a response to the crude oil issue.
Without crude oil,ford,chevy,daimler,john deere,case ih,harley,riding lawnmowers,chainsaws,generators,bowing,lockheed,northrop grumman,cessna,bell helicopter,all go out of business.the manufacturerers nationwide layoff and never return.then all the spinoff industries of suppliers,the car lots,the parts houses,the chemical plants.the trucking industries.dead,dead,dead!
As for electricity just wait, this inflation is gonna put a squeeze on wages and electricity rates are gonna double soon.wages in utilities is the highest cost.fuels come in second but because its bought in bulk its not really that high except in europe and california.13cents is a lowball figure per killowatt,i pay 15cents and cali pays about 40cents.they have higher wages there.
Everything ev does in marketting is to cover its dirty little secrets.the gasoline industry was the same way back when it first started out.
Witb rare earths like lithium being the way it is you would think it would only be a recycle product but you can get on amazon right now and find disposable lithium batteries.
My experiences in life tell me dont trust batteries.maybe the future will be different but currently gasoline is way more reliable than a battery.i can rebuild a gasoline engine,i cant rebuild a lithium battery.
If america doesnt find a way out of this mess,we are doomed and the world is doomed.i dont want to leave my kids a massive headache.
